Scott Hamilton the latest to bring his knowledge and skills to ActionCOACH
Hamilton is the newest ActionCOACH in the Jackson, Mississippi Metro area

(Jackson, MS) Scott Hamilton was a perfect candidate to become an ActionCOACH. His years of experience, both in the corporate world and running his own consultancy made him a natural, but his desire to learn and help businesses in his area are two of the factors that will make him a success as an ActionCOACH.
ActionCOACH is the world’s leader in business and executive coaching. When Brad Sugars, Chairman and Founder, started the company in 1993, the field of business coaching was in its early stages. By franchising the company in 1997, Sugars helped business coaching become more mainstream turning it into the second fastest growing category behind Information Technology. ActionCOACH specializes in coaching small to medium size business as well as executive teams and group coaching.
After a long and successful career in communication and marketing, Hamilton struck out on his own, consulting businesses in marketing. But he knew a consulting firm was far more limited than the work of coaching.
“As a consultant I saw the issues plaguing small businesses, but many of my customers had issues that fell outside of my marketing expertise. I knew I needed to find a way to expand both my knowledge and my ability to deliver solutions to my clients,” Hamilton said.
He found the perfect vehicle to do both of those things with ActionCOACH.
“For the past three years I have been a self-employed communications and marketing consultant, so I understand the issues many small business owners struggle with every day. The need to balance acquiring new customers while servicing existing customers, paying their bills and handling all the other issues that pop up. With ActionCOACH, I have the tools to help them handle all of these issues.”
When he’s not coaching businesses, Hamilton is a member of the Metro Jackson Chamber of Commerce and the Public Relations Association of Mississippi. He attends Galloway Memorial Methodist Church and in his spare time he is a member of the Mississippi Heat Triathlon Team.
He will be a franchise owner with his office located in Ridgeland. From there he will focus his practice on the Jackson Metro and central Mississippi area, with select clients on the Mississippi gulf coast. His Master Licensee is Bill Dupuy.
Hamilton began his journey as an ActionCOACH in Las Vegas, Nevada where the ActionCOACH Global Office is located. Here he spent 10 days training with other new business coaches and franchise owners from around the world. They learned the ins and outs of ActionCOACH, how to run a business the ActionCOACH way, branding, systems and techniques, as well as how to apply their knowledge to any business and much more.
